Corporate Alliance Information
We work with many wonderful companies that are investing significantly in changing the breastfeeding culture and breaking down the barriers to breastfeeding. These companies commit to a long-term alliance with Best for Babes and collaborate with us in many ways to fund critical initiatives–like our ground-breaking ad campaign, celebrity interviews, and unique website content and tools that help moms and babies. They also help spread the word about the work so more mothers and babies can reap the lifetime benefits of breastfeeding or donor milk. All of our sponsors are WHO CODE compliant, have signed our corporate partnership pledge and share our vision (see below).

Frank About Women is the country’s leading marketing-to-women communications group. We are extremely grateful that they have donated a six-figure ad campaign to Best for Babes. They have worked with us to ensure that our positive, educational messages resonate with moms, and makes them feel empowered to succeed at breastfeeding. The stunning visual is arresting and provocative—in line with our mission of giving breastfeeding a makeover—so it helps to create a culture that values and celebrates breastfeeding. The ads don’t pressure moms or make them feel guilty, instead they urge moms to prepare for breastfeeding and demand proper support from peers, physicians, hospitals, employers and insurers, thereby raising awareness of the “booby traps”. Thank you Frank About Women for your pro-bono support! The ads have appeared in Fit Pregnancy, Mom&Baby, USA Today and online. |

Our Corporate Giving Opportunities
The Best for Babes Foundation welcomes inquiries from potential corporate sponsors. Receive a return on your investment! We offer opportunities for everyone to be a champion for moms, with a variety of levels to match your company’s marketing goals and budget. By partnering with us you will be building employee morale and demonstrate company commitment to helping mothers and babies, while increasing the value of your brand. Specifically, the Best for Babes Foundation seeks to engage corporations that share our vision:
- Breastfeeding needs a makeover to become culturally accepted, embraced, and celebrated. This includes supporting all moms to succeed regardless of their feeding decision, changing the way breastfeeding is perceived, and revealing and removing the “booby traps”–cultural and institutional barriers to success–so that more moms can make an informed feeding decision, and those who want to breastfeed can achieve their personal breastfeeding goals. We are shifting the focus off moms and on to the real issues that are preventing them from succeeding.
- Parents and caretakers deserve the best information to make decisions on how to feed and nurture their children, and that information should be free from conflicting agendas or undermining influences. As such we ask partners to familiarize themselves with and adhere to the World Health Organization’s International Code on the Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes. Moms who choose not to or can not breastfeed deserve evidence-based information and resources to help them safely and effectively feed their babies, including information on donated, screened, pasteurized human milk and on the safe preparation of artificial baby milk. Moms who choose to breastfeed deserve evidence-based information and resources to help them succeed at breastfeeding without being undermined by the “booby traps”–cultural, social and institutional barriers.
- No parent or caretaker should be judged, pressured or made to feel guilty for their decisions; parenting is hard enough! We believe that all parents want what is best for their children and should be respected for their decisions. All parents deserve to be cheered on, coached and celebrated without pressure, judgement or guilt!
- All breastfeeding information should be positive, encouraging, accurate and evidence-based. By evidence-based we mean that breastfeeding information or advice should not be based on hearsay, myths or misinformation, and should be reviewed by professionals who are trained in the highly specialized field of lactation management. By positive and encouraging we mean that it should empower parents and build confidence so that parents can be the best that they can be in raising children.
